Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki

Overall, a great stay at this lovely hotel. We appreciated that we could leave our bags in the lobby before checking in and after checking out. This gave us the chance to explore the city without having to lug our stuff around. Our flight left late in the evening so it was especially helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, and well lit (a rarity in hotels these days). The A/C kept the room at a nice temperature. The location is close to the beach ( a short walk through the Hilton Hawaiian Village) and the Island Country Market a block away is a great source for prepared meals (bentos, poke, sushi, deli, and even prime rib). It's a 20 minute walk to Kalakaua Avenue if you enjoy the night life. The only thing that we didn't like was the strong deodorizer that is constantly sprayed throughout the lobby, the halls and elevator. People with scent allergies might have a problem with it. Thankfully, the rooms were scent free. I would highly recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness and friendly staff. It was a nice ending to our holiday in Hawaii.

We stayed here for several nights and overall had a good experience. Had all the basic necessities for a hotel: clean rooms, clean bathroom, easy check-in and check-out, amazing location, and comfortable mattresses. We used the laundry machines which worked well. Only complaint was that the AC couldn’t keep up during the day, but it was fine during the night. Overall very pleased.

We're usually in a timeshare when in Hawaii, but occasionally need a single night. This worked out really well, and we'll stay again. It's conveniently located, and the parking fee per night is way less than the condo's. The front desk clerks were really good with their recommendations. And one thing I found quite striking was how good the lobby smelled when we walked in!

This hotel provides a really good value and has a nice outdoor common area with a pool on the 2nd floor. The location is good. It's more in the edge of Waikiki but it's about a 10 minute walk from some nice beaches that are quieter compared to the main area of Waikiki. The room rates are reasonable compared to most other hotels in Waikiki, and IMO it is the best value for the service and amenities that they provide. The employees I encountered were all friendly and helpful. The housekeepers also did a good job and my room was kept very clean throughout the stay. I only have two minor gripes. One is that I could sometimes hear other people in other rooms as early as 6-7am which woke me up, so the walls seem to be quite thin. The second gripe is that they don't allow Doordash delivery to my room even though the elevators do not require a key card. They say it's for "security" reasons, but if I am authorizing them to come to my room, then that should be enough.

We had a big group of several families staying 1 - 2 nights at the Ramada before going on our cruise. Two families also returned to stay another night after our cruise. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful in allowing us to keep our luggage in a designated area of the lobby for both stays prior to checking in to our rooms. Both the check-in/check-out process was easy. The hotel was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a nice laundry area. As a matter of fact, upon our return from the cruise, I asked about the laundry area and was given a key card to have immediate access to it even though we wouldn't be checked in for another six hours! The hotel location was perfect for shopping, restaurants, and the beach- all within a walking distance. Additionally, shuttle service was just outside the hotel for easy access to explore the area without using a taxi or Lyft/Uber. Again, the staff were all so kind and friendly. We would HIGHLY recommend the Ramada Plaza Waikiki!

Friendly and helpful staff. Room had a very comfortable bed and was in a great location. Walking distance to many shops , restaurants and beach area were you can watch fireworks every Friday around 7:30 that the Hilton across the street puts on. One of the trolly stops is close to the hotel too. Had a rental car and no issues finding a spot to park, but it was February so I'm sure it could be a different in high season.

Over night stay due to cancelled flight. Welcoming reception staff, quick checkin. Tidy, clean room. Great on site restaurant with tasty Korean food. Kind lady @ the restaurant gave me a cup of fresh milk - much preferred to the creamer provided in the room. Good location - not too far from airport and short walk to beach.

My room was nice and clean. No view at all except street view. Had an incident in the room but was told that they could not attend to it "at the moment" so i ended up borrowing their tools to resolve the situation. That felt weird but i believe they had to good reason given that it was about 630AM in the morning and i was the only one there. Otherwise, it was decent place to stay, the Wline bus stop was right in front of the hotel and it is located with convenient stores all around. i Would stay again. Overall staff was friendly.
